Los Angeles South Bay

Map of South Bay Los Angeles

The map of South Bay Cities is from the South Bay Association of Realtors. Additional description of the South Bay can be found on their page – About The South Bay

Although there are some who want to make believe that the heart of the South Bay are the beach cities – Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach – We don’t buy into that; the South Bay is much more than a few beach towns.
To us, the appeal of the South Bay is her cosmopolitan charm – her culturally, economically, and ethnically diverse character that can be found in the wide range of culinary adventures, ethnic grocery stores, places, events, languages spoken, architecture & neighborhoods and, of course, the people making the South Bay such a rich experience.
The South Bay is comprised of 15 cities, and home to El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Torrance, Palos Verdes Estates, Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills and Rolling Hills Estates, Lomita, Carson, Gardena, Inglewood, Hawthorne, and Lawndale, as well as portions of the city of Los Angeles with San Pedro and Wilmington, as well as unincorporated Los Angeles County.

Each city has its own distinctive personality and history; its own take on sustainable living and the approach to Accessory Dwelling Units (ADU’s).
